West Texas Turtle
This turtle was thinking pretty hard about crossing the road. I tried to convince him not to. I waited to see if he had made up his mind but it was taking way too long, so I just decided to leave him. My life has been reduced to talking to turtles on the side of the road.

I had a similar experience on highway 6 north in Texas. When the turtle refused to listen to me, I thought it was a good idea to take it home with me to Fort Worth and release it in a city park that I released a turtle at when I was a kid. Anyways, I think the car ride scared it to death, literally. So. Maybe not such a good idea.
