My reticence isn't that I need someone with me every step of the way -- I enjoy dining out alone, seeing theatre alone, visiting a city for the day alone. <br /><br />No, it stems from the fact that when you see something exciting, or beautiful, or funny, or taste something delicious, your inclination is to turn to your companion for the shared smile, laugh, or "aaahhh!"
